non-linear spring definition

I want to define a two-piece force elongation relationship for spring elements, one of the sections is quadratic, the other linear. Could you please explain how to do this, maybe with the curve editor?

Yes, when using nonlinear springs, you can use the curve editor to define the force-elongation curve in whatever shape you want.
