Hi,
My goal is to perform a simple tensile test on a dog bone (the shape that is used for tensile testing). I have created it in Solidworks and I am able to open it in Gmsh without any issue. I then save it in Gmsh as a .msh file and import it into PreView. When I do this, PreView crashes. I know that PreView is able to open .msh files because I tried it with one of the Gmsh example files and it was able to open it. Am I doing something wrong?
If this isn't the right way, how can I create my own geometry and then import it into PreView in order to perform a tensile test on it. Any software recommendations or steps to answer this question would be very helpful.
Thanks,
NTM
