Hi
I am a postgraduate student. I was trying to run a model of knee. I used springs to constrain the meniscus horns, but I failed to converge at the time when the femoral cartilage and the meniscus were just in contact, as negative jacobian is detected.
But if I constrained one the of face of the horns in vertical direction(Y direction) , it worked. But this is not the method other researchers used.
I have attached the picture of my model. I can't upload the model in this forum. If someone is interesting, just give me your email, I will send the model to you. Thanks.
Regards
Albert
