    Hi,

If you were missing the vcomp140.dll, then this was indeed missing from the installer. However, I just uploaded a new installer that includes this dll, so please uninstall your current version. Then, download the newest installer and please give that a try. Let me know if that works. If not, please let me know what the exact error messages are that you get, and I'll see if I can help you further.

      Good morning, Sir
Sure enough, I uninstalled and then installed the Febio_win64_2.9.1 version.
To start the application it displays the following error: the application failed to start correctly (0x000007b).
      With best regards,

        Hi KHALFALLAH ,

I should have clarified I was referring to FEBio Studio. Since FEBio Studio has the latest FEBio version built in, I highly recommend installing FEBio Studio instead of an older version of FEBio. So, please give that a try and let me know what you find.

It looks like you tried to start FEBio Studio from the installer. Can you please try to start FEBio Studio from explorer? Please send me a screen shot of the error you see there.

            Thanks,

                In English is:
Unable to start the program because ........... .dll doesn't exist on your computer, try reinstalling the program to fix the error.

I see. Unfortunately, this is not a dll that we provide, and I suspect that the underlying problem is that we build our software on Windows 10, whereas you are using Windows 7. This might be a compatibility issue. Since we don't have a Windows7 machine to test on, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do to further trouble-shoot this issue. The only two options I see are, either update your Windows version to Windows 10, or download the febio source code from github (febiosoftware/FEBio: FEBio Suite Solver (github.com)) and try to build the code on your computer.
