Hello everyone, I am a maxillofacial surgeon from Brazil and I have started studying finite element analysis in orthognathic surgery. My intention is to evaluate whether the use of 2 maxillary plates is sufficient in cases of maxilla down or counterclockwise rotation in different situations (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10mm), using collagen-based or rigid grafts, as well as without grafts.
Although I have a basic understanding of the concepts, I am facing many difficulties in dealing with FEBio. Is anyone interested in being part of this project and being my tutor?
I believe that once the results are obtained, we will have 2 to 3 publications solely based on this study, in journals with a good impact factor.
I dont even find how to send a new post here in the forum. I thought I was good with technology but I have to review my concepts.
