Output the minimum or maximum displacement

Hi,

I have found the logfile really useful for exporting some useful parameters from the FEBio directly to a file. I was wondering if there a way to export the element ID (or node ID) of the element (or the node) with minimum or maximum displacement fields for each geometry in the simulation. Is there any similar option for the stress fields? I would really appreciate it if someone can help me with it.

Hi,

This is currently not possible, although we are working on expanding the output feature, so I'll keep this in mind. In the meantime, I suggest to output all the nodal displacements and element stresses and then write some kind of script (e.g. with Python) to process the output to find the min/max.
