Hi,
I'm working with the example in the prestrain plugin file and trying to figure out how the plugin works. In this example, the nodes on two faces of the box are fixed in the BCs, and the pre-strain is applied successfully. Following the prestrain step, I want to define a load step in which I can apply displacement on one of the fixed faces. However, I found that the pre-strain would be lower (the released face whould displace) once I release a fixed face. So, I am wondering how I should apply force/displacement on the box with the desired pre-strain? Do I have to keep the fixed BCs? Could anyone give me some ideas? Any helps, I would appreciate it a lot!
