Tube surfaces become empty after mesh refinement

    Hi

I was simulating a tube subject to pressure in FEBio Studio. The problem is, if the mesh is refined once, the pressure surfaces (Surface5~Surface8 in the attached examples) become empty in the *feb file (see surface PressureLoad1). Another problem is, FeBio can not recognize the emptiness and throws out errors on the following lines (Boundary).

Maybe after refinement the association of mesh elements to the object surfaces is broken?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Can you please clarify how you generated the initial geometry? Did you use FEBioStudio's built-in Tube tool? Which procedure did you use for mesh refinement?

    Best,

    Gerard

Hi, the tube was generated with FEBioStudio's build-in Tube tool. The mesh was generated using default parameters and refined once using "Refine Mesh" under "Edit Mesh".

        Hi,

I cannot reproduce this issue with our latest development version. If you reach out to me via email (steve dot maas at utah dot edu), I can send you this version so you can try it on your end.

        Cheers,
