Hello!
I am trying to model the diffusion of solutes in a multiphasic object. I want to see c=c(x,y,t) for an initial condition of effective concentration c0=10 (and corresponding effective fluid pressure p0=-phi*RT*c0). I do not want to fix the concentration at boundaries so the nodal boundary conditions are imposed only on displacement.
When neutral solutes are present in the system, I get satisfactory results NeutralDiffusionIC.feb. However, the solutions do not converge in the case of charged solutes (Na+ and Cl-) IonDiffusionIC.feb.
Kindly let me know if there are issues in my model and/or other possible reasons for this. I am using PreView 2.1.1 and FEBio 2.9.1 in Windows 8.1 Pro.
Thank you in advance,
Abha
