Stress and integrate in post view

    Hi,
I have a pressure load model. In post view when I calculate the z-stress of a face I have a definite zero result (all other stress values are also zero). But when I calculate the integral of z-stress for the same face there is a value. How can that be?
    Regards,

    Hi Rakefet,

I tried a few models on my end and so far I have not been able to reproduce this on my end. Can you please share your model so that I can try to reproduce this?

    Thanks,

      Hi,
The file is too large. I'll send you a link to google drive.
      Thank you!

        Hi Rakefet,

Thanks for sending the file. I looked at the model and I still cannot reproduce it. The stress values at the bottom are small, but not zero. If you select any of these faces and look at the values in a Graph window, you'll see that they change as a function of time (see attached image). When I integrate over the bottom surface, I see the same trend, but the values are of course much larger as a result of the integration. If this is not what you are seeing let me know and I will send you our latest build for you to try.

        Cheers,

        Steve

          Hi Steve,
Thank you for checking my file. At my end it is still zero see attached image. I'll be glad to use your new build.
          Thanks,

            Hi Rakefet,

I didn't realize you were looking at the Summary Window. I did see the issue in this window. (I was looking at a Graph window.) I think I have it all fixed now, so if you reach to me via email (steve dot maas at utah dot edu), I'd be happy to send you the latest build.

            Cheers,
