Reduction of size of PostView and Text Files

Hello!

I want to reduce the size of my PostView and text files. So, I want to know if I can do this in FEBio Version 2.9: before running a file, I choose to save only the last set of results.
I read about choosing 'read the last state only' in PostView in case of a memory limit. However, the file size remains the same. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Abha,

You can set the control parameter plot_level to PLOT_FINAL. That will only store the last converged state to the plot file. Add this to the Control section of the input file.

<plot_level>PLOT_FINAL</plot_level>

Please give that a try and let me know if that worked.
