    Where is the MU01.feb file?

The example files have a plot from the MU01 example, but not the .feb. I am looking for a model that applies the muscle activation as a load, and I am hoping that this example does.

    Thanks,
    Doug

    Hi Doug,

As far as I can tell, the mu01.feb file was deleted a little while back. (I don't know why, I don't have a record of it.) I tried creating a new model that uses the muscle material with suitable activation but I am having some trouble with its convergence, so we need to check if the muscle material implementation has a bug in it. Once we resolve that issue, we will be able to post more example problems for this material.

    Best,

    Gerard

We have fixed a bug in FEBio 2.8.3 that affects the accuracy and convergence of the muscle and tendon materials. This new version is now available online. If you are interested in using these materials, make sure to update your FEBio version to the latest version.

      Cheers,
