Different output depending on the version of Postview

    Dear FEBio Forum,

I've noticed that different outputs generated between postview v 1.10.3 and 2.2. Specifically, in v 1.10.3 contact pressure is present on each surface that comprise my articulating joint. The joint is made up of 3 articulating surfaces. When using v 2.2 the contact pressure is present at only one of these adjacent surfaces and does not show up on the other 2. Our FEBio (v 2.7) model is exactly the same, the only difference is postview. I am using the two pass method for the sliding contact.

Is this a problem anyone else has experienced/the developers are aware of? Could the penalty factor affect this?

    Cheers,

    Maxime

    Hi Maxime,

I am not aware of any change that could explain your observations. Is this a big model? If so, could you try to replicate the issue on a smaller model and send us the files? We'll need to be able to reproduce this on our end to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

Hi Steve, thank you for your quick response.

I have created a simpler version of the model, however it might still be too big to post on the forum.
Do you have an e-mail address I can send it to?

      Cheers,
      Maxime
