Volume of a Cavity

Hi

I need to find the volume of a cavity (exp: an empty space within a hollow cylinder) in each time step, to plot Pressure-Volume curve.

In fact, my ultimate goal is to simulate the whole cardiac cycle and plot pressure-volume curve, So I need to know the volume in each time step.

I'd prefer the feature in both Febio and postView if possible.

Thank you,

Sanaz

You can calculate element volume by adding the "Volume" data field to the model.

To calculate the volume of the entire model, add a constant data field (value 1), and then use the integrate tool to evaluate the integral of the constant field. This should give you the total volume.
