Following along with Introductory Webinar, need help with scalar field map

Hello,

I am an undergraduate researcher teaching myself FEA and FEBio to do my research and I'm using the Webinar posted on Nov 20,2020 to teach myself. However, I've been running into issues making a scalar field to use it as a map for the demo shown in the Webinar. For some reason it won't converge when I try to create it even though I am using the same surfaces and settings as the lecturer in the Webinar? What could be the problem? Hi,

One of the things that has changed in recent versions, is that you first need to assign a material to parts before applying the scalar field tool. (This was done so that you can apply the scalar field tool to only parts of the mesh.) So, try assigning a material to your parts first, and then run the scalar field tool. Let us know if that solved the problem.
