Dear All,
We developed a model in which we try to apply a force via a strap on a tissue.
We apply displacement on the strap, withe the contacting surfaces has free sliding properties.
Few questions:
1. In one area of the contacting surfaces, we have some "bulging" of the strap (which is not supposed to occur) and then the model does not reach 100% of the prescribed displacement. Do you have any idea why is it occurring?
2.We would like to calculate the total force applied (or contact surface pressure) between the two objects. Integrating the reaction forces is not working. Any other idea how can I calculate it?
3. Generally, if I would like to get a force on a surface, should I integrate elements or nodes stresses?
