Is there any elements limitation of FEBio?

    Hello.

One thing I am cared about is whether there is some kinds of limitation for elements number of computational model in the FEBio software. Since I would use this software to carry on a simulation of a whole leg bone with its detailed microstructure, then this should be a critical issue. Thanks a lot for any useful information.

    Lin,

FEBio does not have any fixed limitation itself, but the limitation that comes into play is the memory of your machine. So far, the largest simulation I am aware of is from a user that had almost 16 million elements, which was taxing his 1 Terabyte machine.
