    Cylindrical co-ordinate system

Is it possible to make use of a cylindrical co-ordinate system in FEBio? I am wanting to model an arterial section which is cyclically symmetric in 45°. I could model 1/4, which should remove most boundary condition problems, but it would be more convenient to rather work with the radial axis, not to mention halving the model size.

If it is possible, how, seeing that PreView, as far as I can gather, does not incorporate it?

    Thanks!

FEBio does not support a cylindrical coordinate system so I'm afraid it would not be possible to use that coordinate system for your model.

After a bit of looking around I suspected it to be the case, but wanted to double check. I will just have to make a plan with my model.

      Thanks for the quick response
